Alfoccino's
Say cheese at this Auburn Hills eatery.

Opened very near The Palace of Auburn Hills, this eatery
wasted no time in immediately specializing in all things
Italian. A colorful and spacious dining room, complete with
plenty of seating, Alfoccino's is ideal as a family dining
spot, date option or simply a warm and inviting place for an
authentic meal. While the heart of the menu is the pasta,
pizza and "Italian favorites," including the likes of veal
marsala, chicken picatta, lasagna and fettucine alfredo,
other dinner entrees like shish kebobs, New York strip steak
and sauteed perch Diane provide equally toothsome options
for diners. But, the pizza is what really does a lot of the
talking here. With a crust that's baked first, and then
finished with toppings for the final baking, Alfoccino's is
a distinct pie. The Boss' Special -- beef tenderloins
sauteed in garlic seasoning with green peppers, onions,
mushrooms, black olives and fresh tomatoes -- will not
disappoint. It makes a perfect pre- or post-event dining
spot for many of the pro basketball games, concerts and
other happenings at the nearby Palace. -- John Horn
